Under the Trinidad and Tobago Police Services Act, there are no restrictions on the exercise of the power to arrest a police officer in accordance with the direction indicated in the false message, either on the basis of the gender of the arresting officer or the alleged offender, nor any such restriction on the time of day at which the officer may make an arrest.
