Marketplace is designed to make it not only easier for law firms to find suitable products, but also to understand how those products can be integrated with third-party platforms. Legal Home`s stated goal is to expose lawyers to Thomson Reuters products available in their law firm. However, during today`s demo, I identified two ways Legal Home needs to be improved. Currently, Legal Home only shows users products they have recently used. It doesn`t show them products they don`t know! Secondly and more importantly, you cannot enter Legal Home to personalize it unless you know your Onepass password! Am I the first person to tell Thomson Reuters that lawyers don`t know their Onepass passwords? Everyone stores their Onepass passwords in the products they use all the time, and they never look back. It would make much more sense for lawyers to start Legal Home from the products they use all the time (Westlaw, Practical Law, HighQ, etc.). I fear that Legal Home will never get the traction it deserves if Thomson Reuters does not remove the obstacle of a passage.
