Prior to joining SIAC, Thea was an associate lawyer with the Office of the Solicitor General in the Philippines, where she handled criminal, civil, international commercial and investor-state arbitration. She served on UNCITRAL Working Group III on Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform, where she participated in inter-agency discussions on alternative dispute settlement. Thea received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the School of Law at Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines in 2016 and was called to the Bar in 2017. (Hons) from the Faculty of Law, Singapore University of Management. She is admitted as a barrister and advocate to the Supreme Court of Singapore. He has an extensive commercial practice that includes technical litigation, maritime law (including maritime, air and land transportation), international trade, insurance and corporate law. Leng Sun has acted as counsel or arbitrator in arbitrations in Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, China, Korea, Malaysia, London and the United States under ad hoc and institutional rules such as SIAC, ICC, SCMA, LMAA, ICDR, CIETAC, HKIAC, AIAC and KCAB. He is a certified arbitrator. He chairs the arbitration panel jointly appointed by the EU and Korea under the Cultural Cooperation Protocol of the Korea-EU Free Trade Agreement.

Leng Sun also served as Legal Secretary of the United Nations Compensation Commission in Geneva. Aliona holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from the National University of Singapore, specializing in international arbitration, international investment law and comparative oil and gas law. She also holds a BA in Anthropology and Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.Prior to joining SIAC, Aliona worked at a global financial services company and interned at international law firms in Europe and Asia.Aliona is a lawyer in New York. He has been appointed arbitrator in a number of arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, LCIA and SIAC. Dmitry B. Dyakin is a lawyer, partner and co-head of dispute resolution at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan and Partners in Moscow.Dmitry has extensive experience in resolving international trade and investment disputes.

He represents leading Russian and international companies operating in various sectors in high-profile cases, many of which have become historical precedents for the Russian legal community. He has extensive experience in handling arbitrations both as a sole arbitrator and as a member of an arbitral tribunal. He regularly participates as an expert in Russian law in judicial and arbitral proceedings abroad. Dmitry is a member of the ICC`s International Court of Arbitration, term 2021-2024. He is also Deputy Head of the ICC Arbitration Commission in Russia and chairs the Working Group on Investment Arbitration of the Russian Arbitration Association (RAA). Dmitry is a member of the Russia/Eurasia Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the LCIA User`s Council and the SIAC User`s Council. He is on the list of arbitrators of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), Tehran Regional Arbitration Centre (TRAC), is also a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) and has also been included in the list of practitioners on VIAC`s website. In 2017, Dmitry was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Arbitration Center of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE).

He is on the list of recommended arbitrators of the RUIE Arbitration Centre and is currently a member of the RUIE Board of Directors. Dmitry holds an Honours Bachelor of Laws from Moscow State Social University (2000), a Master of Private Law (M.P.L.) from the Russian School of Private Law (2007), a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University School of Law (USA) (2009), and Executive MBA from London Business School and Columbia Business School (2013). As Registrar of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Kevin leads SIAC`s secretariat in providing case management services. Over the past decade, Kevin has overseen the administration of thousands of international cases under all versions of the SIAC Rules and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Under the Singapore International Arbitration Act (Chapter 143A), Kevin is the statutory tax authority and has the authority to authenticate and certify arbitral awards and arbitration agreements. Kevin worked closely on the revisions to the 2013 SIAC Rules, 2016 SIAC and the 2017 SIAC Investment Arbitration Rules and leads the SIAC Secretariat in drafting the seventh edition of the SIAC Rules. He is a member of the Singaporean delegation to UNCITRAL Working Group II (Dispute Settlement) and represents SIAC in UNCITRAL Working Group III (ISDS). Professor Hanotiau is Professor Emeritus at the University of Leuven (Belgium). He is a member of the CICA Advisory Board and the ICC Institute Council and a member of the ICC Commission on International Arbitration. He has also served as Vice-President of the Institute of Transnational Arbitration (Dallas), Cepani (Belgian Arbitration Center) and LCIA Court. She studied law at the University of Malaysia on a full scholarship from an international oil and gas company and was placed on the Dean`s List. During her studies at the Faculty of Law, Pauline actively participated in moot court competitions and represented Malaysia in international competitions. Pauline is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysian and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin competently. Prior to joining SIAC, Shwetha worked for nearly a decade in the dispute resolution practice of a leading law firm in New Delhi in commercial litigation, as well as arbitration with investment agreements with foreign and Indian investors. Shwetha has worked on many high-profile cases that have contributed to the development of laws affecting global businesses. Fernando Mantilla-Serrano is a partner and global co-chair of Latham & Watkins` international arbitration practice. A graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá, where he obtained his law degree (JD) and a major in economics, Mr. Mantilla-Serrano also holds an MCJ (LLM) from New York University (Fulbright Scholar), a DEA in Private International Law and International Trade, and a DSU in EU Law from the University of Paris II. He is recognized for his depth of knowledge and experience in international arbitration, where he represents corporations, states and government institutions in highly complex commercial and investor-state disputes.
