Legal services are a fantastic foundation if your goal is to become a paralegal or work in public sector legal services. But that`s not all you can do with a legal services qualification in your back pocket. Another benefit of studying legal services at university is that you have acquired a recognised and coveted qualification after each year. and HNC, then an HND. When you study with us at Fife College, you also have access to a variety of progression paths from HND: Legal Services up to the third year at universities in Scotland and the UK. The course offers a variety of potential career paths, including a future in the legal industry, but also access to professions such as management, finance and business. A wide range of people working in the legal profession attended the conference, including lawyers and trainee lawyers. Students had the opportunity to learn about the legal profession and law studies during a series of question-and-answer sessions. A representative of the REACH program, an initiative that attracts students in grades 4 to 6 interested in studying dentistry, law, medicine or veterinary medicine and surgery, was also present. They gave participants an invaluable presentation on how to complete their UCAS application for an LLB (First Phase of Legal Education).

Feedback from students at the conference was very positive and many felt inspired to continue their law studies, as four of the seven lecturers were alumni of Fife College`s legal department. The course is assessed through a mix of assignment and project work. Fife College recently hosted the second annual Law Society Lecture at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy. Social skills are incredibly practical and useful.
