Civil procedure is the formal legal proceeding that takes place when the claim relates to a civil matter and when the matter concerns your private rights and responsibilities. The person facing the legal problem must be present at the legal opinion. Exceptions are only allowed in cases where this is not possible, for example when the person is in prison or confined to bed. Please check with our staff in advance. Pro bono legal consultations (free) take place by appointment every Friday evening (except during the months of April and November) from 19:00 to 20:30. Legal Clinic applicants must arrive 20 minutes prior to their appointment to have time to register. The legal clinic needs lawyers who have practiced or are currently practising in Singapore and who have experience in family law. Lawyers must be admitted to the Singapore Bar.
