“Abide in Me [Christ], and I in you.

In Matthew 28, Jesus tells His followers to “go and make disciples of all nations…teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (vv. 19-20; NIV).

Evangelism is the proclamation of the Kingdom of God in the fulness of its blessings and promise, which has also been called salvation.

As believers in Christ, we are commissioned to be His witnesses in every nation and tribe and culture. We are called to deliver His message of hope, to proclaim to the world, what He has done in us—and what He can do for others.

We focus our efforts on knowing and making God known, and in so doing, we experience His glory and greatness. And we see lives and communities transformed in ways that mere human ambition never can.

God’s spirit unites, motivates and grows Christian communities as they witness God changing lives through offering mercy, a fresh start and hope to individuals, no matter who they are or where they are from.

PURPOSE: To reconcile men to God.

The greatest need man has is to be reconciled to God. The word “reconcile” means to change from enmity to friendship. The one thing that stands between man and God is sin, “for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23), and “the wages of sin is death” (Rom. 6: 23). God who did no wrong and has no need of being reconciled to man took the initial step to bring man, the offender, back to him. He “commendeth his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8).

“Bring your passion. Bring your skills. Be His witness to the nations.”
